While Harper veers right, so do the Liberals

Excellent essay from Straight Goods, one of the oldest progressive online Canadian news magazines. Is this true? Do people believe the Liberals have become the Conservatives? I believe this is true. Or least they’re working on avoiding all issues. And vote for Harper when they think their supporters aren’t watching.

At first the situation was merely pathetic. Canada re-elected Stephen Harper while America was in the process of electing Barack Obama. That was bad enough. Now it's getting worse.
